Professioal Associated Valuer

MANAGING PARTNER

Jannie is currently the co-owner and principal of Seeff Commercial Real Estate in the Sandton Region, from where he spreads his commercial footprint across South Africa.

Jannie holds a MLPM (Master’s in Land and Property Development Management) from UFS (2012) and is in the process of completing his MEM (Master’s in Environmental Management), also from UFS.

His initial research (MLPM) was focused on farmland values under the extremely able leadership of Johan Willemse, and he thus acquired invaluable experience on the interpretation of the economic position and value of farmland in the South African economy.

Jannie is the managing partner of the EnviroDimensions team and also a member of IEASA.

Ben Swart

Candidate Valuer

Ben practiced as professional engineer since 1976 and he holds a BSc BEng (Civil) degree from the US (1975). He started his career at the OFS Provincial Administration, Department of Roads, and later joined THM Engineers (Pty) LTD where he currently is the managing director.

Ben is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa, the South African Institution of Civil Engineering, as well as with the Institute of Safety Management.

Ben has contributed professional opinions on complicated valuations for EnviroDimensions on several occasions during recent years, but is now an active member of the team.

Professional Valuer

SENIOR PARTNER

Willie is the most experienced valuer of the EnviroDimensions team.

He cut his teeth and gained vast experience on all fronts of the property valuation industry during his decades of service with Muncipalities,  Bankorp Properties, Saambou Bank, and practicing under his own name since 2002.

Willie is a competent valuer in almost every sector of the property valuation industry, but he prefers to display his expertise and prowess with valuations of residential property, vacant (development) land, industrial property, and commercial property.

Cornelius Wessels

Candidate Valuer

Cornelius completed his BCom (Financial Management) at UJ in 2008 after which he headed for Afghanistan. 

He worked mainly in Kabul for Contrack International Inc. for three years and held the position of Finance Manager when the company started to withdraw from the region in 2012. He then joined ITEC Office Automation as Senior Financial Manager, which position he held until 2014, when he joined Aveng Grinaker LTA. Where he is gaining experience in construction and project finances.

Cornelius virtually grew up in a property environment – his father (Jannie) has been in property for the biggest part of his life.

Cornelius is the youngest member of EnviroDimensions team and will assist with valuations in the Gauteng region.

Candidate Valuer

Johan is a professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of the Free State.

He is a well-known economist and columnist – both titles for which he won several awards. He completed his MCom (Economics) at UOFS (now UFS, 1978) en PhD (Agricultural Economics, 1994) at UP, for which he was awarded the Protein Research Trust’s prize for best PhD. In 2003 he received a Cochrane Study Bursary for post-graduate training at the University of Illinois in the USA.

Johan was, among others, graced as ABSA Business Economist of the Year, Agricultural Economics Lecturer of the Year (UFS Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture), and the Award for Entrepreneurial Contribution (UFS Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture). He also held the positions of Trustee of the Oil Seeds and Protein Development Trust, Chief Economist of the South African Agricultural Union, and Executive Member of the Maize Board.

Johan has an exceptional knowledge of agricultural economics, the agricultural industry and as a result, the value of various agricultural businesses and farmland in almost every sector, area and region in South Africa.

Solly Ncoane

Candidate Valuer

Solly obtained his first tertiary qualification BSc (Physics & Chemistry) from NWU in 2004. He followed this with obtaining his MLPM (Master’s in Land and Property Development Management) at UFS in 2013.

Since 2005 he commenced with a career at the National Department of Public Works where he gained invaluable experience on the inner workings and complexities of property and property values, with specific reference to government’s role in property in South Africa.

Solly is a specialist on rental analysis, long-term rentals, and building maintenance costing and modelling.
